NHS Recruitment Event in Hereford

Job opportunities for anyone interested in working for NHS services in Herefordshire will be promoted at a recruitment event on Tuesday April 4.

The event is being jointly hosted by Wye Valley Trust and 2gether NHS Foundation Trust at the Kindle Centre, in Belmont Road, Hereford, between 3 and 7pm.

Positions on offer will include bank roles for nurses and health care assistants, roles in hotel services and a range of clinical opportunities.

There will be an opportunity for interviews on the day or for potential candidates to take their CV along and have an informal chat with managers.

Alison Wilmott-Miller, Assistant Human Resources Director for 2gether, said: “Between our two Trusts, we jointly employ large numbers of nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, health care assistants, speech and language therapists, psychological wellbeing practitioners, administration staff and more.

“This means we have a lot of opportunities available, both for people wanting to join the NHS and those already within the NHS who want to advance their careers.

“The event at the Kindle Centre is a great opportunity to come along and find out what we have to offer. You can even have an interview there and then if we have a suitable role for you.”

Karen Miller, Recruitment and Retention Manager for Wye Valley Trust, added:  “Visitors to the event will be able to speak to representatives from the Trust’s recruitment team and will also have the opportunity to talk to other professional representatives about what it’s like to work for Wye Valley NHS Trust, including our community hospitals in Ross, Leominster, Bromyard and Hillside.

“There’s a huge variety of jobs available at the Trust and whether you’re looking to become a nurse caring for children, looking after older people or anything in between, we’ve got vacancies.”
